.The Great Gas-Out.

Are you sick of hearing the politicians telling everyone
that there is nothing they can do about the rising price
of fuel?
Do you think there is nothing anyone can do to stop or
reverse this situation?

There is something we all can do!!

If, just for one 10 day period, everyone who is affected
by the artificially high fuel prices would strictly limit the
use of cars and trucks by only driving to work and car pool, if possible, when they do. Not take that weekend trip to Vegas or Laughlin or anywhere else. Only go to the grocery store and walk there if one is close enough, or stop at the store on the way home from work.
NOT purchase ANY gas or Diesel fuel in the 10 days, including two weekends.
This sounds difficult, but, it isn't that hard! I have tried it and it will work. I didn't go anywhere, unnecessarily, for two weeks and I found that I saved a lot of gas and money.
My car gets about 20 mpg, I live 12 miles from where I work. 22 gallons will comfortably get me through two weeks without any strain.
If only 25% of those reading this go along with the plan, in a week, the gasoline "pipeline" will be so full, the Arabs will be begging us to use it! And lets face facts: The politicians don't care, they use government fuel, so they could care less what it costs.
I have heard about several other plans to "Gas-Out" on April 30. That's a Saturday. If the "Gas-Out" lasted from April 29 until May 8, it would have a signifigant effect on the prices at the pump.
If we all get together, WE CAN DO IT!! Americans have NEVER been afraid of a fight, have we?
